Company: Doubletree Hotel  Location: Omaha, NE Description: CLASS TITLE: Banquet Bartender This is a guest service position in which you will work alone or with other banquet bartenders and banquet servers to provide beverage service to our guests at Company Standards. Repetitive bending and walking. Normal Temperatures with the exception of working inside of a beer cooler in some cases. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES - MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 6 months previous guest service or restaurant atmosphere experience required with mixology or bartending experience desired. Must be legal age to serve alcohol (19yrs – State of Nebraska). Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must have good phone skills and excellent customer service skills. Must be able to divide attention among several tasks going on at one time and be able to remain calm or composed in demanding work situations. Willing and able to learn new computer systems required for the job. Must be able to successfully complete Serve Safe training and CARE Alcohol training within 30 days of hire. Knows math well enough to process billing and financial statements. Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members on a continuous basis. Must be able to meet or exceed productivity standards for the position and follow all appropriate policies and procedures. Excellent organizational skills. Must be able to effectively manage time. Excellent work history and attendance record required. Willing and able to comply with hotel policies and procedures including attendance, appearance and grooming, safety, security, and emergency procedures. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
