Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets. Must have excellent vision (including peripheral) to protect the games. Must be able to read, verify and sign appropriate documents relating to the game in a small area. Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.

Job Title: Cage Cashier - On Call Company: Palms Resort Casino Location: Las Vegas, NV Description: Distributes moneys to gaming guests via check cashing, conversion of coins, tokens and gaming checks into currency, exchanges foreign currencies and establishes credit for gaming guests. Protects company assets while dealing with the public in an efficient and courteous manner. Qualifications: * High school graduate or equivalent is required. * Prior experience in handling large sums of money, with six months previous Cage Cashier experience required. * A proven proficiency with computers and 10 key adding machines, with some knowledge of computer keyboard, is preferred. * Must be able to enter data, read, and interpret output from a computer. * Must be able to stand for long periods. * Must be willing to learn all phases of Cage activity. * Must have good math abilities. * Must have excellent guest and human relations skills. * Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift. * Must present a well-groomed appearance.
