Greets and welcomes guests at the door. Seats and presents clean menus to guests in a friendly, professional manner. Responsibilities and Duties: § Exhibit excellent customer service skills. § Assist guests in a professional manner. § Remain calm under pressure during busy shifts. § Ensure dining room is tidy and set completely prior to opening. § Greet and seat guests. § Work with wait staff to ensure excellent guest service. § Take accurate reservations via phone and in person. § Deliver room service orders. § Learn POS system and take to-go orders. § Perform all side duties as assigned. § Handle cash and balance revenue at the end of a shift. § Other duties as assigned. Will work at one of the following locations: § Bridgewater Hotel (Seasonal, mid May thru mid September – breakfast only) § Wedgewood Resort (Seasonal, mid May thru mid September) § Sophie Station Suites (Seasonal, mid May thru mid September, and year round) Education, Knowledge and Skills: § Previous dining room & customer service experience preferred. § TAMS or TIPS certified (21 or older) and knowledge of alcoholic beverages a plus. Hours: Various Uniform: Professional attire. No jeans, t-shirts or sandals. Minimum Age: 16 AM shift/ 21 PM shifT
