Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.

Job Title: CASINO HOST Company: Penn National Gaming, Inc Location: Lawrenceburg, IN Description: Develop and maintain strong professional business relationships with known casino players, and identify and develop new prospects with “high play” potential. Provide a variety of services to “best” customers to enhance the growth of gaming revenues, as well as continued patronage, emphasizing player development. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Positively respond to all customer concerns and issues to promote a return visit. • Effectively respond to manager’s requests in all areas of customer interaction and customer concerns. • Perform job duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff. • Participate in appropriate social activities within the Marketplace and with Casino guests, which reflect positively on Hollywood Casino. Get acquainted with known players and groom new prospects. May take guests to lunch or dinner, give tours of facility, and make dinner or hotel reservations. Hosts will have comp authority based on established guidelines. • Serve as a host/hostess for special events on a regular basis. Work closely with the Director of Marketing to plan and administer special events. • Manage assigned dormant accounts. Responsible for compiling a daily report of shift activities, guests’ names and other pertinent information. Takes specific actions and seek opportunities to increase guests visits to the casino (e.g., invite guests to dinner, make gaming session reservations, provide free tickets to special events, etc.) • Develop and maintain mail list for all premium players. • Work closely with casino and slot personnel to determine “high limit players” and cater to those customers. • Collect and maintain relevant player information such as marital status, spouse’s name, outside interests, etc. for use in event planning and other activities. • Maintain relationships with valued gaming guest through personal contact through an administration program of phone, direct mail, and in person. • Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned. Employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description where, in the company’s judgment, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or improved guest service.   Job Requirements: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or minimum of five (5) years customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
