Job Title: Banquet Captain Company: Location: Bellingham, WA Description: Assists in implementing banquet event orders as generated by the Catering Department, including setup, execution of event, and break down, in a professional manner and in compliance with established policies and procedures. Works in coordination with multiple departments in execution and implementation of all events. Works as Banquet Manager in his/her absence. Supervises the set up and break down of banquet rooms for events. Hires, trains, and directs the banquet staff. Minimum two (2) years previous banquet experience in a comparably sized organization required. Minimum of 2-3 years previous experience as Banquet Captain preferred. Two years previous supervisory experience preferred. Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays. Miniumum age requirement is 21. High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
