Job Title: Beverage Manager/ Maitre d' Position Company: Location: San Francisco, CA Description: The Spinnaker is located in the heart of historic Sausalito. The restaurant sits atop the San Francisco Bay and boasts unsurpassed views of San Francisco, Bay Bridge, Alcatraz, Angel Island, Belvedere, and Marin Headlands. The restaurant features an American Cuisine menu featuring Fresh Seafood, Meat, Chicken and Pasta Dishes. The Spinnaker is a full service independent restaurant, banquet facility, bar and cocktail lounge open daily from 11:00 AM ? 11:00 PM. We are looking for an energetic, motivated and passionate individual who will have the unique and exciting position of a Beverage Manager/ Maitre d? Position This individual would be responsible for overseeing the day to day activities/ operations of the bar and cocktail lounge as well as assisting our dining room manager in the operational aspects of the dining room. Candidates are to have a minimum of four years restaurant experience and two years supervisory/ management experience working in the front of the house. Intricate knowledge of liquor, California wines, non alcoholic beverages, inventory, sequence of service, effective communication skills, problem solving, and ability to multitask imperative to the success of the position.
