Job Title: Guest Services Night Auditor Company: Location: Chicago, IL Description: Night Auditor: Part time position. Varying shifts of weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings & holidays. Duties: Responsible for accurately calculating and verifying room revenues, food and beverage sales and income; and performing front desk, switchboard and reservations activities during the overnight shift to the quality standards set by the property and at the same time meeting all efficiency goals. Experience: Previous experience in a similar position is preferred. Candidates must have good organizational skills, must speak and understand basic English. High school diploma or GED and/or 1 year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills in use of computer POS and PMS systems; 10 key calculator; and cash handling required. Job Title: Hotel Night Auditor Company: Location: Chicago, IL Description: The Night Auditor of this 78-room all-suite hotel is responsible for all front desk related functions including check-in, check-out, handling guest complaints, replying to requests for information and services, reconciling charges to house and guest accounts, taking payments, and answering phones. Interested candidates must have strong customer service and computer skills and must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time. The Night Auditor must be able to work alone and is responsible for doing a multitude of tasks in addition to their front desk responsibilities. These include keeping the lobby neat and clean, delivering items to guest rooms, starting and setting up breakfast in the morning, and performing night audit reports. Hours may vary, but are typically include Friday and Saturday 11pm ? 7am. Pay for the position is $9.50 per hour. Applicants should forward a resume.
