Job Title: Room Service Attendant, Egleston, Full-Time Company: Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Pediatric Hospital Location: Atlanta, GA Description: A room service attendant ensures that patient parent meal trays are prepared accurately delivered within established guidelines and that the standards of quality service are maintained at all times.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrepares all desserts, salads, cold sandwiches, snack items for all patients on regular or modified diets all guest trays.Sets up patient trays and guest trays accurately and timely according to menu items chosen from an extensive restaurant style menu.Delivers all patient trays and guest trays to the bedside within 45 minutes of the time the order was placed.Maintains a high level of customer service interactions to ensure satisfaction with the service quality of all food orders and to collect dollars associated with guest trays.Cleans and restocks all Room Service areas on a daily basis.Supports and participates in the continuous assessment and improvement of the Quality of Care and services provided.Demonstrates understanding and supports family centered care PhilosophyUnderstands and complies with all infection control, safety, and OSHA procedures and regulations.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMinimum high school graduate or equivalent is required.One year previous work experience a hospital is preferred.Ability to read, write, and understand English.Ability to organize time. Ability to communicate and get along well with others.Willing to be cross-trained within the Food Service Department.
