Job Title: Valet Parking Attendant Company: Location: Las Vegas, NV Description: Position Overview The primary responsibility of the Valet Attendant is to park or retrieve guests vehicles in a timely manner ensuring the utmost in vehicle safety. Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, no matter how busy or time of day. Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Write a legible claim check for the guest, noting any prior damage to the vehicle on the ticket. Stand at the Valet Podium taking tickets from guests/visitors who are retrieving their vehicle. Qualifications and Physical/Mental Requirements Must be 21 years of age. Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States, High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form, interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts, maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company appearance standards, work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Specific Position Requirements 1 year experience as a Valet Attendant at a four star and above property is preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively in English Provide excellent service, proactively greet, interact, and assist resort guest and staff in a professional manner, able to work in a fast-paced environment by using good judgment and the ability to multi-task.
