• Maintain high food quality
• Supervise kitchen operations
• Lead the team
• Cook and prepare food
• Manage labor costs
• Ensure food safety
• Create new menu items
• Follow sanitation practices
• Manage food service
• Have a culinary arts background
• Know about food and beverage management
• Hold food safety certifications (ServSafe, HACCP)
• Understand nutrition guidelines
