167 Raw Oyster Bar is seeking experienced line cook to be familiar with expediting tickets and kitchen stations, including garde manger, sauté, grill, and fry. This employee needs to have clear communication, organization, and ability to work in a team environment.

Our kitchen is a 5 person line, and is very fast paced. This position would need to have the ability to keep the station organized and clean.

 

This is an hourly paid position with overtime compensation.

Restaurant is open for Lunch & Dinner

Monday - Saturday, closed on Sundays

Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day

Shift Availability

Lunch shift 9:00am - 5:00pm

Dinner shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Job Details

  • Set up station for service & prepare mis en place
  • Check quality and consistency in food product
  • Prepare or expedite tickets
  • Communicate with team
  • Ensure all stations are clean
  • Replenish station items
  • Clean kitchen, daily

 

Requirements

  • Working 45 - 55 hours a week
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 year, minimum line cook and expo experience
  • Professional reference and background checks
  • Full availability and flexible schedule
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs
