As a Bell Person at The Hermitage Hotel, you are the graceful first and final touchpoint of timeless hospitality. Your presence bridges the grandeur of the BeauxArts lobby with the hotel's storied legacy—from suffrage movement strategy sessions to modern-day luxury gatherings. Every arrival and departure you manage carries both dignity and warmth, reflecting a century-old commitment to service that defines Nashville’s premier historic hotel.
3. Key Responsibilities
Greet guests promptly with poised courtesy, open doors, assist with luggage, and welcome them without prompting.
Safely transport luggage, tag and place each item with care, and provide guided escorts—highlighting amenities along the way.
Read guest cues and proactively offer umbrellas, directions, local recommendations, or arranged transportation.
Communicate in real time with Valet, Front Desk, Concierge, and Security to ensure seamless transitions.
Monitor curbside flow, pedestrian pathways, and potential security issues with vigilance and composure.
Maintain expert awareness of hotel layout, services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guest inquiries confidently.
Embody refined professionalism in uniform, grooming, and demeanor; keep the entryway impeccably maintained.
Assist departing guests thoughtfully with luggage and doors, delivering warm farewells that leave a lasting impression.
Support organizational priorities with discretion, agility, and unwavering alignment with the hotel's values and standards.
