Evening Shift Custodian Charleston Location: Charleston, WV Pay: Based on experience Job Description: Seeking a dependable Evening Shift Custodian to perform cleaning duties in an office building setting in the Charleston, WV area. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment through routine custodial tasks. Responsibilities: Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas Sweep, mop, and scrub floors Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies Dust furniture and equipment Wash windows, doors, and sills Empty trash and clean ashtrays Transport trash to disposal areas Replenish bathroom supplies Maintain cleanliness of parking lots and entrances Clean sinks, commodes, and mirrors Maintain janitorial equipment and supplies for efficient use Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred 1-3 months of experience in custodial work preferred Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to stand and walk regularly and lift/move up to 25 lbs. Valid drivers license required Schedule: Part-time, evening shifts Hours may vary within the following schedule: Monday: 4:30 pm 7:30 pm Tuesday: 4:30 pm 10:15 pm Wednesday: 4:30 pm 7:30 pm Thursday: 4:30 pm 7:30 pm Friday: 4:30 pm 10:30 pm
