Birley Bakery is the newest venture from club owner and entrepreneur Robin Birley, the force behind Londons prestigious private members clubs 5 Hertford Street and Oswalds.
Launching summer 2025 on Madison Avenue in NYCs Upper East Side, Birley Bakery brings a warm and welcoming take on the classic Boulangerie-Patisserie, offering simple, elegant breads, pastries, and desserts made to the highest standards

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a dedicated baker to manage all baking operations at the shop, starting from 4:00 AM daily. All items are produced and delivered raw from our production site your role is to bake them to perfection, ensure quality, assist with light sandwich prep, maintain cleanliness, and place orders as needed.

This is a hands-on, independent role ideal for someone who enjoys morning shifts and being trusted with quality control at the final stage of production.

Ideal candidate:

• Experience baking in a bakery or pastry shop
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail and consistency
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs
