Bar Porter

The Las Vegas flagship is I LOVE SUGAR’s most architecturally innovative store, featuring a monumental façade and state of the art design that creates a stunning new destination in one of the world’s most visited tourist destinations. Spanning 14,000 square feet of candy paradise, I LOVE SUGAR - Las Vegas will also be the largest candy experience in the world.

Job Summary: The Bar Porter will be responsible to prepare, serve and be able to mix and match ingredients in order to create innovative, candy-infused I LOVE SUGAR drinks in accordance with guests’ needs and expectations. The primary purpose of the Bartender is to provide friendly, attentive and timely service to create an exceptional customer experience for all of our guests.

Essential Job Functions:

• Follow company standards of keeping Bar fully stocked and cleaned
• Sweep the floors, mop, clean glassware and wipe down bar, table tops, and seats
• Is aware and is in compliance with all Health Department and Clark County Health Standards while performing duties
• Receive, unpack, and allocate product orders from receiving to the Bar
• Collects and disposes of garbage for the Bar
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Education: High School Diploma or GED required

Required Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Previous experience as a Bar Porter in a Bar/Restaurant setting preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register
• Handle a fast-paced work environment
• Outstanding guest services skills
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively (verbal & written)
• Possess basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a cash register and POS system
• Professional presentation and positive attitude

• Bar Porter: 6 months (Preferred)
