Maintenance Mechanic Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic with a preference for candidates who have experience in the food, flavoring, or pharmaceutical industries. This role primarily focuses on mechanical tasks involving pumps, pneumatics, valves, air motors, and light hydraulics. The successful candidate will eventually be involved in installing new equipment, such as high steam boilers and gas turbines with rotating spindles and reels, by the end of the year or early 2026. Responsibilities Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on mechanical equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance on various industrial machinery. Work with pumps, pneumatics, valves, air motors, and light hydraulics. Install new equipment, including high steam boilers and gas turbines with rotating components. Engage in PLC troubleshooting and maintenance repair tasks. Essential Skills Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance as a technician. Proficiency in working with mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Capability in PLC troubleshooting and maintenance repair. Industrial experience, especially in food, flavoring, or pharmaceutical sectors. Additional Skills & Qualifications Preferred experience in food, flavoring, or pharmaceutical industries. The role primarily operates on a shift from 1:00pm to 9:30pm, with initial training on the first shift from 5:00am to 1:30pm for 2-3 months. The facility is currently running only the first shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corona , California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
