Position Available: 7.25 Cook

Location: This position may encompass working in any one of our 3 kitchens throughout the District. Our school buildings are housed on one campus connected to one another.

Rate of Pay: Per Child Nutrition Contract

Position Summary: The successful candidate will enjoy working in a team environment and possess an ability to build relationships with both students and staff.

Additional position highlights include:
Discretionary Leave pay ( based on number of hours worked per day)
8 paid Holidays per year( based on number of hours worked per day)
Pay based on experience
177 Scheduled work days + 8 holidays=185

Qualifications: Qualified people must be able to be on their feet for 7 hours.
Level 1 certificate and Certified Mn Food Protection Manager Certificate. Responsible for preparing, cooking, baking and serving nutritious and healthy food to our students, staff and parents. Working with and understanding all safety guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Has the ability to multi-task and handle situations. Can effectively communicate and work as a team with a positive attitude.
