Temporary Receptionist

We are currently seeking a temporary Receptionist for our Chicago, IL office. This position reports to the Office Manager and is responsible for providing a professional and pleasant atmosphere in the Reception area and to act as a concierge to give the highest level of customer service to clients and employees..
Work schedule will be 8:30am - 5:00pm M-F
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures professional client reception services by greeting clients and visitors, attending to their hospitality needs, communicating with staff and attorneys regarding their arrival, and monitoring emergent issues.
- Answers all incoming phone calls, ensuring all calls are redirected accordingly.
- Ensures security procedures are followed by issuing temporary security cards according to procedural expectations and monitoring egress of personnel.
- Schedules and coordinates conference/video calls, as needed.
- Assists with conference room meeting set ups and break downs, including catering orders.
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of receptionist or administrative assistant experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook.
