Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Operates and maintains stationary engines and mechanical equipment such as compressors generators turbines and steam boilers. Provides for utilities such as heat refrigeration air conditioning electrical power and other services for the medical center.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Three (3) to five (5) years experience or four (4) year apprenticeship working in operations and maintenance.
- Extensive exposure to any of the following including but not limited to; Electrical Air Conditioning Carpentry Boiler etc.
- Working knowledge of Medical Center systems a plus.
- A general mechanical ability in multiple trades is desired.
- Fast paced problem solver.
Preferred:
- Journeyman level electrical experience.
- High School graduate and ability to pass licensing examination when required.
