Balboa Inn Hotel located in Newport Beach California is hiring for the front desk supervisor position.

$20.00- $22.00 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the front desk operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient management of guest services. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while effectively managing front desk staff and operations.

Duties

Supervise front desk staff, providing training and support to ensure high standards of customer service.
Manage daily front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Conduct night audits as needed, ensuring accurate financial reporting and record keeping.
Utilize hotel management software and phone systems efficiently to manage bookings and communications.
Uphold the hotel's policies and procedures while fostering a positive work environment.
Experience

Previous experience in a hotel or resort setting is required; supervisory experience is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous.
Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
