About the Role:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Bilingual Receptionist to join our growing ultrasound clinic. This position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, comfortable with patient interaction, and willing to assist in various daily operations including light office cleaning and supporting the sonographer with patient rooming during downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients with professionalism and care, both in person and on the phone.
Schedule, confirm, and manage ultrasound appointments.
Translate and communicate effectively between staff and Spanish-speaking patients.
Verify patient information and intake paperwork.
Assist sonographers in rooming patients, preparing exam rooms, and providing basic support as needed.
Help maintain a clean, organized reception and exam area during downtime (wiping surfaces, light tidying, etc.).
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements:
Bilingual Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
Prior experience in a medical office or front desk role (preferred but not required)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Comfortable using scheduling software and basic computer programs
Friendly attitude, team-oriented, and willing to help in all areas of the clinic
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
