Job DetailsWe are a busy, modern Japanese sushi & hibachi restaurant in East Windsor, NJ, looking for experienced kitchen professionals to join our culinary team. We're focused on evolving into a more diverse, American-style kitchen while maintaining authentic Asian cuisine standards.
We are hiring experienced and versatile Kitchen Chefs/Line cooks for our busy restaurant. Ideal candidates are comfortable operating across multiple stations including sushi, wok, hibachi, and grill. We value chefs who bring skill, creativity, and professionalism to our team.
Who You Are:
3+ years cooking in restaurants or commercial kitchens
Comfortable with wok , deep fryer , broiler , and/or teppanyaki grill
Experience in Asian cuisine , especially Japanese, is highly desired
Passionate about presentation and food safety
Multi-station chefs (kitchen + sushi, kitchen + hibachi) strongly preferred
Bilingual in English and Chinese is a plus
Weekend and holiday availability required
Compensation: $17$30+/hr based on skills and role (multi-station cooks earn on the higher end).
