Job Overview: We are seeking a warm, organized, and service-oriented Host to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a team environment, and possesses strong communication skills to ensure every guest feels welcome and valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly, creating an inviting atmosphere.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements using Tock, or other reservation systems.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient seating plan to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant flow.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure smooth coordination and excellent service.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally and promptly.
  • Monitor the dining room to anticipate guest needs and respond proactively.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house areas.
  • Support team members during busy periods by assisting with tasks as needed.
  • Uphold the standards and values of fine dining hospitality at all times.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain ServSafe and BASSET certifications before the employment start date.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and displays a genuine desire to help others.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Previous fine dining hosting experience and familiarity with Open Table is preferred but not required.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($15.00 - $20.00) plus tips
