Job Summary/Basic Function:
Under the direction of the Culinary Arts Manager, a Summer Camp Kitchen Helper will work together with other kitchen staff to prepare culturally appropriate food for the campers. If you love cooking or want to learn a new skill while making friends from all over the world, join us this summer.

You will:

• Wash dishes and utensils used during meal preparation and service.
• Assist the other kitchen staff with meal preparation as requested.
• Assist with dining hall and kitchen cleanup and disposal of garbage

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
• Exhibits maturity & good judgment
• Demonstrated adaptability in changing situations

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Interest in kitchen work

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oral proficiency in the target language
• Previous Concordia Language Villages or camping experience
