Crew Member (Student) Job Description

Requirements: 16 years or older

The following is a brief description of the Crew Members duties at a Burger King Restaurant. This description is not considered all-inclusive as the job of the Crew Member changes from time to time as different situations demand.

• Crew Members will interact with customers and co-workers to provide our guest with exceptional service and support
• Crew Members will greet our guests with a smile, receive orders, process payments and respond appropriately to customer needs
• Crew Members will operate our cash registers or point of sales devices and other equipment as delegated
• Prepare and package food/drink products and verify orders are filled accurately
• Clean stations, items or areas as assigned (e.g. workstation, kitchen area, dining room, bathrooms, food preparation areas, utensils and exterior grounds)
• Maintain health and safety standards in work areas
• Unload and stock inventory as needed
• Perform duties at multiple workstations (e.g. front counter, Drive-thru, prep boards, expediter, etc.)
• Follow BURGER KING uniform and grooming standards and policies
• Work to resolve issues that may arise in the restaurant
• Take and passes all test as required
• Communicate in a positive manner with customers, peers, and managers
• Work to meet speed of service and other goals

Physical Abilities

• Standing
• Walking
• Handling / Lifting Products and Equipment ranging from 10 to 100+ lbs.
