Job Summary/Basic Function:
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide customer service to Dining Services guests primarily with replenishment of food and beverage items; preparation of foods such as sandwiches; cleaning; restocking; event set-up; event clean-up; light custodial, as needed. Ensures safe and clean service areas, adhering to standards of sanitation and safety as established by local, state, and federal health officials.
Minimum Qualifications:
Customer service skills to work directly with guests, providing for their needs and requests in a timely manner
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
HIgh school diploma or GED
Ability to engage customers and work with diverse groups of people
Able to follow health and sanitation standards by maintaining safe food temperatures, sanitizing work areas, and continuous hand washing
