The (Environmental Services Technician) Housekeeping position is responsible for a variety of duties in the care and cleaning of peoples bedrooms, bathrooms, classrooms, dayrooms and other State buildings. Duties may include physically strenuous activities such as moving furniture. Work is performed under close supervision, guided by a daily schedule for general assignments. Work is reviewed through inspections and frequent consultation with supervisory personnel. Examples of duties performed are: clean showers, commodes, and lavatories daily; wash beds, bedside tables and other furniture as needed; dust blinds; wash walls if needed; collect and remove trash. *The work schedule will be 6:30 am 3:00 pm Monday Friday and holidays as assigned.

*This position is designated Mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events.
