Overview Rising Star Resource Development Inc. (Rising Star) is a private non-profit incorporated 501c3, Community Rehabilitation Program (CRP). We are a supportive employer providing training and employment services to persons with disabilities, those with barriers to employment and our veterans. We are a provider of Facility Support and Temporary Staffing Services.
Job Skills / Requirements Essential Functions: The qualified candidate should be outgoing, energetic, and motivated with at least six months of custodian services.
Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids: The essential functions of this position require the use of cleaning supplies such as: mop, cleaning chemicals and vacuum. Due to the Coronavirus, spray misters will be utilized as additional equipment for disinfecting.
Environmental Factors: The essential functions of this position are performed indoors with limited outside exposure. Personal Protection Equipment will be provided.
Compensation : This will be an hourly position.
Work Periods: Monday-Friday, Facility open 6am to 6pm. Shifts over lap.

- Maintain / Spot clean all carpets and furniture.
- Maintain cleanliness of all office, restrooms and laboratories daily.
- Maintains floors; sweep, mop, scrubbing and use of Scrubbing Machine as required.
- Regular and punctual attendance.
- Coordinates and performs general custodial functions such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows and light fixtures.
- Restroom cleaning and disinfect, replenishment of paper supplies and soap and sweeping and mopping nightly.
- Performs minor maintenance and repair work on custodial equipment.
- Inspect areas for quality assurance per Custodial Log Book.
- Clean office furniture, walls, windows, water faucets and floors of stains and finger prints.
- Operates floor maintenance equipment; backpack vacuum and mop ringer.
- Ability to deal effectively with the public.
- Maintains inventory records of equipment and supplies as well as reorder request.
- Ability to read and write English at a 10th grade level.
- Reliable transportation preferred.
- May train others and perform related work as assigned.

- Federal Contract Wage $17.75 plus Health and Welfare $4.93 per hour, totally Hourly $22.66.
