Individuals who want to be part of the custodial team at Husson will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment for every member of the Universitys campus community. Those who will excel in this position of responsibility will maintain regular and punctual attendance.

These effective team members will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Clean and service a variety of Husson University facilities in order to ensure cleanliness while protecting the health of the campus community.
• Individuals in these positions must be willing to support special events by setting up and removing tables, chairs, furniture, etc.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED Preferred
• Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools and equipment, as well as occupational hazards and safety rules.
• Knowledge of how to clean using types of proper chemicals to successfully complete specific tasks.

*We are willing to train the right person if knowledge base is not possessed.

Other Skills and Requirements:

• Valid drivers license
• Solid interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to facilitate cohesion and positive interactions as part of the custodial team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Dedication exceeding high-quality standards when completing assigned tasks.
• Willingness to be flexible with occasional shift rescheduling as needs arise.
