About the Team

The Maintenance Team works to ensure all AKBH facilities are safe, clean, furnished, and equipped for day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the team includes maintenance technicians and janitorial staff who work together to create a pleasant working environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Regular cleaning of all facility spaces; trash removal, floor cleaning, bathroom & staff kitchen cleaning, etc.
  • Security checks; making sure office doors are & outside doors are locked at the end of the day to ensure the security of the building, checking that electrical appliances are turned off to ensure hazards are not created (coffee pots)
  • Report equipment problems, supplies that need replenishing, and anything else of importance to the Maintenance Manager

  • Position is based in Anchorage, Alaska
  • Full-Time, Non-Exempt
  • Pay Range is between $18.00 and $23.30 DOE

What We Need from You

  • You have a high school diploma or GED and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings or early mornings
  • You have a satisfactory driving record and can pass a pre-hire drug test and State of Alaska background check
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • You’re able to move furniture and equipment to assist in the cleaning process
  • You have knowledge of hazmat instructions and understanding of cleaning chemicals how they work when mixed together
