Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and customer-oriented Food Server to join our team in Opelousas, United States. As a Food Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while maintaining high standards of service and efficiency.

• Welcome and engage with guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using computerized systems
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper presentation standards
• Transport food and beverage orders safely using trays or carts
• Process guest payments and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timing
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any concerns
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and allergen information
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of food and beverage service experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Capability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 40 pounds
• Proficiency in using computerized point-of-sale systems
• Strong English language communication skills
• Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
• Demonstrated time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset with strong collaborative skills
• Food handling certification or ability to obtain as required by local regulations
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
