Job Summary/Basic Function:

• Support the mission of Concordia Language Villages by providing a clean and safe environment for staff, clients, participants and villagers.
• Prepare Villages for participants and clients by cleaning residences, bathrooms, dining halls, offices and indoor areas.
• Work enthusiastically as part of a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to read and write.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to exercise time management
• Lift 40 pounds unassisted and 80 pounds assisted several times per day
• Ability to use a variety of cleaning chemicals
• Ability to perform repetitive motions
• Must be able to kneel, stoop, stand for extended periods of time
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including some weekends

Preferred Qualifications:
Valid drivers license and insurable driving record.
