SUMMARY : The Table Games Dealer is responsible for conducting and controlling the play of a particular game, such as Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exchanges chips for currency and drops currency into drop box using paddle.
  • Ensures that equipment is in good repair.
  • Deals games in the prescribed manner: collecting and paying off bets, protecting the game and calling out certain transactions to Supervisor as required.
  • Responsible for checking the accuracy of all fills delivered to the table and must sign for all files.
  • Countersigns for all markers issued, places and removes marker buttons from layout and
  • drops marker stub and/or copy of marker paid slip.
  • Constantly observes players to protect the game.
  • Dealers spend an estimated 25% of their shift on break.
  • Must be available for scheduled work.
  • Must exhibit the Family Service model at all times.

SUPERVISORY DUAL RATE RESPONSIBILITIES

Dual Rate supervisor is responsible for the integrity of the Table Games department, correcting player ratings and marker issues/collections. They have a working knowledge of Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, and Poker.

  • Assigns Dealers to their designated tables/areas.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities for the Table Games staff.
  • Corrects player ratings.
  • Corrects marker issues.
  • Makes recommendations regarding promotion and/or disciplinary actions.
  • Must be available for scheduled work.
  • Must exhibit the Family Style Service Model at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Dealer School certificate preferred. Three or more months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
