The Senior Slot Technician creates, supervises, and designs related training programs to assist in the development of subordinate Technicians. Additional duties include the maintenance and repair of select equipment for the Finance and Table Games operations. Ensures all new products are configured and functioning properly; makes recommendations to the Slot Technical Shift Manager to improve any areas of concern; repairs any machine problems beyond the scope of subordinate Technicians; sets an example for other Technicians to follow; delivers exceptional internal/external customer service. This position requires performing the job duties throughout the SGC properties as needed. Traveling between or reporting to the other properties is a requirement of this position. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporations and the Departments policies and procedures. This is also to include following all Internal Control Standards and objectives

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform comprehensive electronic circuit board repairs.
2. Perform all aspects of monitor repair.
3. Assist in the coordination, and performs any machine moves, modifications, and conversions.
4. Responsible for the initial set-up of all new slot machines and peripheral equipment.
5. Maintain the integrity of the slot machine equipment and secure all company assets and property at all times.

7. Coordinate the installation and maintenance of all progressive equipment.
8. Assist the Slot Technical Shift Manager in the coordination and implementation of all gaming inspections.
9. Utilize all resources available to address any technical issues beyond the scope of position.
10. Ability to construct any needed test equipment that may be necessary.
11. Assist in the development of subordinate level Technicians, and in the development of new methods & techniques for training manuals.
12. Perform any duty within the scope of Slot Technicians responsibilities.
13. Assist in maintaining parts inventory under the direction of the Slot Technical Shift Manager.
14. Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment needed to perform the function of the position.
15. Assist the Finance department by maintaining and repairing currency and currency related equipment.
16. Notify the Cage Shift Managers/Cage Manager of all maintenance and repairs performed on equipment.
17. Track and record all finance equipment repairs/maintenance on equipment tracking log sheet.
18. Must have a thorough understanding and be able to install, repair and maintain casino Player Tracking System equipment.
19. Provide report to the Cage Shift Managers/Cage Manager of any parts or supplies needed to maintain and/or repair finance equipment.
20. Assist the Table Games Department by maintaining and repairing any Table Games electronic equipment as requested.
21. Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
22. Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.
23. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
24. Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
25. Attend all necessary meetings.
26. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:
1. Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
2. High School diploma or equivalent GED required.
3. Associates Degree or Certification in electronics from an accredited school.
4. Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience as a Slot Technician in a licensed jurisdiction.
5. Candidate must complete the internal testing and evaluation process of the approved SGC Slot Technical training program.
6. Exhibit superior communication skills and the ability to learn on their own.
7. Working knowledge of computer software applications and practical usage.

1. Must possess excellent communication skills.
2. Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
3. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
4. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

2. Must be able to reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
3. Must be capable of using various electronic test equipment and power tools.
4. The employee must frequently lift and/or move a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
5. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
6. Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees and members of the business community in all situations.

Other:
1. Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Gaming license.
2. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
3. Must be able to work all shifts including weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
4. Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

Salary Starting Rate: $21.35

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
