The Opportunity: The Binghamton JCC is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to supplement our Maintenance Cleaning Staff, who ensure that our facility is clean and sanitized every day. As part of your responsibilities, you will be subbing in for our existing team that ensures all classrooms, bathroom, locker rooms, Kosher kitchen, and common spaces are kept neat and clean. Additionally, you will ensure various deep cleaning projects are done as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Who You Are: Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-years experience in commercial or educational cleaning facilities. You must have reliable transportation to and from work, and pride yourself on being on time to work every day. You must have the ability to work independently, love to clean, and have strong time management skills. You should have a basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment that are used to clean a large facility. We will provide additional training as needed.

Our ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule. You will need to work a minimum of 1 shift every 90 days. Shifts will be 'on-call' when our existing team needs support. Your shifts would almost always be on a Monday - Friday, with the rare possibility of a Sunday. Your shift could be anywhere between the hours of 9 AM - 11:30 PM. Your shift could range from 5 hours to 8-1/2 hours (30 minute meal break).

This position may be ideal for a candidate who works their own cleaning business and wants a few side-hours; Or for a college student with a flexible schedule; Or for a retiree who would like a few hours each month for some extra income.
