Lumen Christi Kitchen - Housekeeper

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THEFOLLOWING:

Preparing and servingmeals in Menard and Souby

Purchase food andneeded supplies.

Assist with planningmenus and related activities such as dining room and special medical diets ifneeded.

Give specialattention to portion control.

Maintain allworkstations for efficiency and cleanliness.

Keep pantry,coolers, and freezers organized and clean.

Assisthousekeeping with room cleaning, and laundry in Menard and Souby.

QUALIFICATIONS TO PERFORM THE JOB SUCCESSFULLY:

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma

Language Skills:

• Must be able to communicate clearly to all by phone, verbally, and in written form.
• Required to speak English.

Computer Skills:

• N/A

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• All employees of the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux are required to hold Safe Environment Training and update every 3 years. This training includes a criminal background check.

Physical Demands:

• Repetitive hand motions
• Ability to lift up 20 pounds.
