As a Banquet Porter, youll play a crucial role in setting up and maintaining banquet rooms, ensuring every event is perfectly prepared according to sales contracts and company standards. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, arranging tables, handling banquet equipment, and contributing to smooth, successful events that leave a lasting impression on guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down meeting rooms according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with the Banquet Manager on serving arrangements, staffing needs, and additional equipment requirements.
- Ensure banquet areas are clean and fully prepared before the start of events.
- Maintain and organize the back-of-house areas, ensuring equipment is clean and stored safely.
- Inspect banquet equipment for cleanliness and damage, reporting any issues to EVS for cleaning or needed repairs.
- Assist with BEO preparation when needed.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests during events.
- Stay informed about all events taking place on the property.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior customer service experience desired.
- Must pass a background check.
- Requires a Valid Washington State Driver License and must be insurable on the Tribes insurance.
- Current Washington State Food Worker Permit
