Floor Tech - Housekeeping

To learn more about Baptist Health, visit us at . The Floor Care Technician shall be responsible for floor finishing, carpet cleaning, and general cleaning. This individual shall complete all tasks assigned on a daily basis for areas within the Baptist Health hospital and non-hospital facilities. This position may have additional duties assigned as needed.

• High School diploma or equivalent required. At least one year floor care experience preferable.
• Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to interact with all levels of peers, customers and management.
• Must be able to work safely around chemicals, dust and be flexible with begin and end shift time.
• Must be flexible with scheduled work times to meet customer demands as well.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Ability to monitor and/or maintain quality control standards.
• Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
• Ability to maintain a professional and customer centric composure in difficult or challenging situations.
• Ability to work from broad directions and be self motivated.
• Ability to prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency.
