General Maintenance Technician (Grave shift)

Express Employment Professionals are currently seeking an Experienced candidate for a General Maintenance Technician for a full-time position in Cache Valley ! * The starting salary for this position is $30.19/hr. (PAY IS NEGOTIABLE for someone experienced) *12 hour grave shifts (Train for 3 or more months on Day shift, 7am-3pm, Mon-Fri) *Full benefits offered! *Paid vacation and holidays Job Responsibilities for the General Maintenance Technician: Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment by completing required repairs on industrial equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery. Process necessary documentation regarding procedures performed. Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. Demonstrated ability to perform mechanical and hydraulic repairs used in mechanical maintenance work assignments. Locate sources of problems by observing electrical/mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Ensures all maintenance and repair activities following OSHA, Federal, Local safety standards. Job Requirements for General Maintenance Technician: 2 years of maintenance experience in industrial equipment Experience in ammonia and/or refrigeration Able to meet the physical demands of the job (Standing for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, squatting, heavy lifting, go up and down stairs, etc.) Understanding of safety procedures Experience with power tools Critical decision-making ability Experience in industrial manufacturing a plus Flexible and dependable with reliable transportation Pass a drug test and background check Benefits include but not limited to: Great health and dental insurance after 600 hours!! 401 K, 5% Match $2000 sign on bonus 5 day vacation pay at 90 days, 10 days at 1 year, 15 days at 5 years!!
