Porter/Housekeeping

SUMMARY

Responsibilities include a variety of housekeeping functions throughout all areas of the Casino to ensure a clean, safe environment for customers, team members and visitors. Cleans assigned areas that Supervisor designates daily. Utilizes all safety equipment as mandated by the position. Performs other duties as assigned.

DUTIES

• Assembles needed materials and supplies from the cleaning supply storeroom.
• Cleans assigned areas by washing furnishings and equipment, mopping floors, using special solutions and disinfectants.
• Vacuums carpets in offices and guest areas as needed.
• Cleans trash baskets, sinks, mirrors, water fountains, windows, door frames and other high places (using a ladder when necessary) with disinfectant.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES

• Ability to walk, stand, reach, stretch, stoop, bend and climb ladders.
• Ability to perform moderate lifting 25 - 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Ability to visually view area and task assigned.

MENTAL CAPABILITIES

• Ability to communicate with co-workers and public.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheet rules and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work all shifts, including all weekend and holidays.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be capable of working with others as a team player.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• No recent felony convictions.
