Day Cleaner (Part-Time)

Title: Part-Time Day Cleaner

Reports To: Facilities Director

Schedule: Monday - Friday 12:30 - 4:30 PM

The Opportunity: The Binghamton JCC is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to help keep our facility spotlessly clean. Your tasks will include:

• Restocking cleaning supply closets from our main storage area
• Laundry for our mop heads, cleaning cloths, Basketball Pinney's, etc... using our on-site washer & dryer
• Cleaning the Men's & Women's Health Clubs every Monday-Thursday between 1-3 PM
• Wet mopping our commercial kitchen floor
• Handling set-ups and take-downs for various activities (setting out Pickleball nets, bringing in tables & chairs for events, etc...)
• Mopping stairwells and hallways
• Vacuuming
• Use of auto-scrubber (will train) for hallways, Meeting room, and Auditorium
• Other miscellaneous tasks as requested

Minimum Qualifications:

Who You Are: Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-years experience in cleaning commercial or educational facilities. You must have reliable transportation to and from work, and pride yourself on being on time to work every day. You must have the ability to work independently, love to clean, and have strong time management skills. You should have a basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment that are used to clean a large facility. We will provide additional training as needed.
