What you'll do:
- Support event planning for the agency such as staff events, and community events
- Other even planning/marketing activities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Post secondary training in marketing, event planning, office administration or equivalent relevant experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literacy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
- High attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong time management skills
Additional Qualifications:
This summer position is offered as part of the Canada Summer Jobs program and therefore to be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the Temporary position;
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the Temporary position;
- have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada

Monday - Friday 7 hours per day between hours of 9am - 4:30pm
8 week duration
