Maintenance Mechanic,

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic, for a well-known Agricultural Company in Arvin, CA. This position is responsible for meeting daily and weekly maintenance goals, while also meeting quality, accuracy, and safety objectivesTemp to Hire3rd Shift: 9pm-5:30am(Must be available for overtime and weekends as needed)Pay Rate: $19.50/HRDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Safely perform preventative checks and services on assigned equipmentReview machine issues with Mechanics, Operators, Supervisors, Managers, etc. and communicate solutions/progress/completionNavigate through machinery operational and maintenance manuals to understand equipment functionality as well as locate partsPerform Preventative, Predictive, and Corrective maintenance successfullyProvide daily detailed reporting of equipment/facility issuesAssemble and build machine mechanical componentsTroubleshoot through pneumatic control issues and make repairs necessaryMinimize downtime by communicating issues with production/maintenance team to make repairs during proper provided downtimeIdentify issues by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening to problems; using precision measuring and testing instrumentsFollow safety procedures to promote a safe work environmentPerform other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to climb ladders, utilize harness, man lift if needed2-5 years of mechanical experiencePerform lock out/tag outAlways follow company GMP Policy guidelinesSkill with hand toolsMaintain clean work tools and areasAble to operate power tools safely/efficientlyAbility to read and understand equipment manuals/drawingsAttention to detail when performing all aspects of jobPerform utility rounds and properly document readings/issuesHiring Requirements:Valid identification that proves your right to work in the United States.As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a drug screen and background check.
