Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading player in the industrial sector, is seeking an INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC to join their team. As an INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Location: Middletown, NY

Pay Range: $23 per hour

Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm

What's the Job?

• Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Troubleshoot and maintain AC and DC motors, plastic extruders, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment.
• Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.
• Source replacement parts and perform necessary repairs.
• Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience required.
• Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics.
• Advanced understanding of electrical systems.
• High school diploma or GED required; advanced technical or college training preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
