Facilities - Maintenance Engineer, Sheriff's Office

To assist in ensuring the efficient operations, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical systems and equipment within the Peoria County Facilities and its grounds. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Should be able to perform duties with 3 months of on-the-job training and assume full responsibility for the position 6 months to 1 year, depending on the individual's ability and background experience. - Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems a plus, preferably with a minimum 2 - 3 years' experience in a facility of equivalent size. - Working knowledge of blueprint reading, plumbing and electrical repair - May be in extreme heat/cold - Must interact with others in a professional manner - Preferred knowledge of interaction on a computer.
