Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Perform reactive maintenance on various types of equipment including conveyor systems, painting equipment, gas fired dryers, cutting equipment, process piping, dust collection systems, and pumps. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide array of mechanical equipment. Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery. Tear down complex units, assess the extent of trouble, repair or replace defective parts, and reassemble ensuring proper operation. Install and diagnose various mechanical drive systems such as gearboxes, sheaves, pulleys, belts, bearings, sprockets, and chains. Essential Skills Mechanical troubleshooting experience. Ability to understand and interpret drawings. Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of mechanical drive systems including gearboxes, sheaves, pulleys, belts, bearings, sprockets, and chains. Proficiency in welding and fabrication. Work Environment Work in a non-climate controlled facility, experiencing varied temperatures with hot summers and cool winters. The role is based on a 2nd shift schedule from 3 PM to 11 PM. The manufacturing process involves handling wet and sloppy materials, which are processed through shredding, pressing, drying, cutting, and painting stages. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
