House Runner
Position Summary
As a Team Member of the Housekeeping team, the House Runner is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the best interest of the business. The House Runner is responsible for providing support for the Housekeeping team, including but not limited to stocking linens, terry, and amenities. Aids with setting up event spaces, handling Guest requests, removing dirty linens from rooms/hallways, and assisting with special projects.
Position Functions
Essential Functions
• Follow all AAA Four Diamond standards and Hotel procedures and policies.
• Clean carpets and upholstered furniture using deep cleaning machines.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, walls, ceilings, and public spaces; turn mattresses and move furniture as necessary.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish the floor.
• Collects soiled linen for laundering and removes trash collected by Guest Room Attendants.
• Deliver linen, rollaway beds, and other items to the Guest rooms on request.
• Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Respond and deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
• Collect and remove trash and debris.
• Stock Guest Room Attendant carts and workstations with linens, towels, and all amenities.
• Maintain prescribed standards of cleanliness for assigned areas using approved cleaning solutions and procedures.
• Maintain the security of the keys assigned.
• Effectively communicate with Guests, management, and Team Members.
• Assist with laundry management, including washing, drying, ironing, and sorting linen.
• Report, turn in and log all lost and found items.
• Clean upholstered furniture.
• Perform detailed deep cleans as necessary.
• Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Perform duties of Guest Room Attendant as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of cleaning products.
• Move furniture up to 50 lbs. to clean underneath.
Preferred qualifications:
• 6+ months of cleaning experience.
