Customer Service Associate

We are seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individuals for a Counter Sales/Customer Service role for a Nursery, Greenhouse, Hardscape & Outdoor furniture business. This part-time position will enter sales at the register and other related duties such as: stocking shelves and answering phones. The workweek runs Sunday through Saturday. One weekend day would be needed. *Part-time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Entering orders at the point of sale using the company computer system
• Interacting with customers over the phone and in-person
• Greet customers with a friendly attitude
• Basic computer and phone skills
• Communicate to customers the correct product for their application
• Communicate to customers how the material is priced and sold
• Enter Sales Orders
• Enter Quotes
• Clear communication between manager, employees, and clients
• Being honest, courteous, and respectful to customers & employees at all times
• Maintain and assist to keep a clean work environment
• Learn basic knowledge of products available to customers
• Other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Basic computer knowledge and Internet use
• Experience with Nursery, Greenhouse, Hardscape, Outdoor Furniture products but not required
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift 75 lbs; 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
• Able to a pass pre-employment drug test
