Dorm Laundry Porter

SUMMARY: ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for a Dormitory Laundry Porter.

Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
• Clear and effective written and communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation, drug test, and physical exam.
• Must be able to work a flexible shift based on need including some weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am – 4 pm (weekends as needed)

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Identify and report any machine failures to management.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Evaluate internal processes for efficiency.
• Conduct linen inventories as required.
• Maintain interior and exterior facility appearance as needed.
• Relocate linens and items between dorms and other locations as needed.
• Restock dorms with fresh linens from the Laundry as directed.
• Monitor and maintain trash between both dormitories daily.
• Wash, sweep, fuel, and maintain the overall appearance of vehicles.
• Perform general repair and beautification tasks as needed.
• Exceptional communication skills and professionalism.

• Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, organized, have excellent communication skills.
• Willing to perform other dormitory duties as required.
