Summary:

The Equipment Custodian supports the Stockbridge Test Site for the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Rome, NY.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Shipping and Receiving Clerk (ADPE/Equipment Custodians) Perform routine clerical and physical tasks related to receiving, tracking, and accounting of movement of ADPE and other accountable equipment in support of government operations.
• Tasks include annual account inventories, controlling hand receipts, maintaining files, and ordering and placing labels, scanning labels to update inventory lists.
• The shipping and receiving clerk processes requests for issues, turn-ins, shipments, and transfers of equipment using online supply, equipment, maintenance, and transportation databases and government paper forms.
• The incumbent also initiates Reports of Survey for lost, damaged, or destroyed government property as required.
• Delivering equipment to the customer and managing accounts through a database and DPAS is required as well as dropping equipment to our destaging area as well.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Must be able to work independently, manage time, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Must have good communication and customer service skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least one (1) year of experience as an Equipment Custodian.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $19.31 to $21.35 hourly.
